I close my eyes again and I’m back in the city of my dreams.
I can’t remember did I fall asleep. Everything seems so real, but I…
I can’t see you in the night, I can’t see anything.

The moon is shining down on me, this is not where I want to be.
I miss the sun and I miss the life, I want to have you back by my side.
I’m feeling weak and I’m getting cold, where is my loving hand to hold?
I can’t believe that I still dream, no way out – no chance to flee.

This place looks familiar to me, I try to find out where I am.
Once I walked these streets with you, no they’re ruined and you’re gone.
I’m on my own. Left alone.

This living hell I have to fight, I keep my eyes up open wide.
I want to run away from here, I want to be with you my dear.
Deadly creatures everywhere, screams are sounding through the air.
Blood is floating down the street, a sign of life is what I need.

I want to know how this has happened, I want to know who is to blame.
Now you’re standing next to me, but something’s wrong.
I am scared by the look at you. What’s wrong with you?

The strangest thoughts insinde my head, are you alive or walking dead?
A city full of screams and dust, I feel it raising – your bloody lust.
I can’t find me in your eyes, now I know you have to die.
For you and me this is no life, I have to do this to survive. To save my life!
